At just 11 years old, Kavindi lost everything familiar. After her mother passed away, her father placed her and her five siblings into different children’s homes—and then vanished. She hasn’t seen him since.

Now 18, Kavindi has grown up navigating life on her own. A Sinhala-speaking Buddhist, she once dreamed of becoming a doctor so she could help people in need. But without the chance to finish school, that dream felt out of reach.

Then she found the DCI Dental Surgery Assistant Program—and everything began to change. For the first time, Kavindi sees a path forward, a way to help others and build a life of her own. She says she feels incredibly lucky that someone she’s never even met is giving her this chance.

Kavindi has big dreams. She wants to learn to bake, buy a camera, and one day own her own home—a place that’s truly hers. In her free time, she loves reading and collecting stamps, small joys that keep her grounded and inspired.

This opportunity is more than training—it’s the beginning of something new. And Kavindi is ready to make the most of it.

Give a Young Woman a Future Through the DCI Dental Surgery Assistant Program

For many young women aging out of children’s homes, the future is uncertain. Most have not finished high school, have endured poverty and hardship, and lack the opportunities to build a stable life. But with your help, we can change that.

Through DCI’s Dental Surgery Assistant Program, these resilient young women receive a one-year residential training that provides them with not just education, but hope, confidence, and a career.

Your $2,400 sponsorship covers everything one student needs to succeed:
✅ Professional training & certification
✅ Classroom materials & a tablet for learning
✅ Uniforms & housing
✅ A hands-on externship & job placement after graduation

With your support, a young woman like Kavindi can break the cycle of poverty and step into a stable, fulfilling career. If a full sponsorship isn’t possible, you can co-sponsor a student for $1,200 or give any amount to help transform a life.

This isn’t just a donation—it’s the chance for a young woman to build a future she never thought possible. Will you help us change a life today?
