An extraordinary 2022! Let the results speak for themselves!

We completed our 11th annual and final Give Kids A Smile program in Las Vegas. Over the years, $500,000 in donated dental services were delivered to 100’s uninsured youngsters, by 100’s volunteers. Repeat volunteers and repeat patients met year after year at our annual GKAS event.

In Ecuador, we doubled our outreaches to four. The outreaches are now Ecuadorian-led and run, while we provide support. How great to see services continue and expand under local leadership.

In Sri Lanka, we exceeded our goal with 106 graduates in 10 years. So many success stories. Ruwanthika is in law school. Niroshani is working as a dental assistant in Malaysia. Thusha is dancing and acting in music videos while working in a private dental office. Pradeepa has been working for 9 years in private practice and is the lead assistant. We have dental assistants employed across the island nation. Their salaries have increased across the board as our graduates are in high demand. Nearly 70% of our alumni returned to our 8th annual CE course and 10th graduation ceremonies.

DCI’s reach is deep and wide. We can be proud. We can also be happy as we look to a bright future.
